Herman Cain Wins First Republican Debate

WASHINGTON – Herman Cain, who barely ranked in public-opinion polls among the Republican presidential challengers before tonight’s televised debate in South Carolina, wowed a focus group of likely GOP voters assembled by pollster Frank Luntz.

Even Luntz said the reaction of the group was unprecedented in its unanimity – Cain won.

“In all the years I have been doing this, I have never seen a reaction like this to a debate,” said Luntz.

    What a motley looking crew. Doofus’ish. Not one of these guys has a chance in hell beating obama. I like Rick, but not for pres, I like Herman, but not pres, and the others aren’t worth a dern at all.

    I watched a little of the debate and the guy that was former gov from New Mexico was just awful and kinda creepy.

      I thought Ron Paul won too, and from the crowd reaction it appeared so.

      I dont know where Luntz got that focus group from or what they were listening to.

      When u look deeper u will have no doubt he is by far the best man for the job. Please dont fall for our paid off media on both sides that try and poke fun at him and prop up there man like they did for cain a former fed reserve chairman and hand pick a audience and use that proganda to swing uninformed people to go with him. Paul has a proven track record and they cant discredit him because he follows the constituition on everything he does. He believes in personal freedom and choice. Not for this nanny state we live in now that decides everything for us and takes our liberties away and craps on the constituition.

      the reason ron paul got such a good crowd reaction is because his hardcore adherants follow him wherever he appears. the same thing has happened at CPAC in the past few years. those people don’t represent the mainstream of the republican party. Ron Paul will never win the republican primary.

    Any warrior who did what Allen West did for the men under his command is, as far as I’m concerned… a king maker.

    Ron Paul seems to be the best choice I can find. Tim and Rick look like used car salesmen. Act like it too. They must of done a really good job practicing those lines and body language. What a joke when you have people like Ron Paul, Herman Cain and Gary Johnson speaking from their hearts, not as if they were reading a teleprompter! Ron has my vote. These debates are BS, they don’t even debate. Believe me Fox has an agenda. I think this article is a little slanted considering that the latest CNN poll has Ron Paul as the best contender to beat Obama. He will take MANY left votes away and easily take the independents. Its time to end these wars before they end us! Love to everyone who reads this! We need a LOT more of it in this world.

      I believe if anyone can beat obama it is Herman Cain. I feel he has the leadership skills and the right ideas that focus on the citizens needs and the fact that hes never held public ofice is a good thing. I’m sick of politicians saying everything they think we want to hear then doing nothing at all. or changing their views when ever its not popular. I want a Guy who belives in america and wants to run cus he cares not because of his own selfish ambition like a lot of politicians and Herman is that kind of guy Go Herman!!

      My mom told me Mr. Cain would be a good choice. If he had Allen West as a running mate, that would be great. We would have good men, successful in what they’ve done in life so far to vote for. They would (I hope) lead this country well. And that fucking race card could be flushed down the toilet.

    This debate makes me wonder about the attraction of business people. Years ago, H. Ross Perot generated a lot of interest until he flamed out big time. Now Donald Trump is sucking up all the oxygen and I predict he too will flame out. Just tonight, Hermin Cain struck a cord with the folks in SC. I suspect it means we are tired of slick politicians and it might just be time to try a business man who is someone other than Donald Trump.

    When Herman Cain was on the radio here in Atlanta I listened to him all the time. He is intelligent, honest (brutally, when required), and a TRUE American. He is a leader, a devoted husband and father, an educated man, and a true survivor in this world (he beat Stage IV cancer, for Pete’s sake!). I couldn’t wait for the rest of Anerica to get exposed to Herman. Couldn’t believe the focus group? Herman has been attracting supporters everywhere he goes. Herman is a FORCE. Everyone who listened to his radio show knew it to be true, and now America can follow suit. SO… JUMP ON THE CAIN TRAIN! No Cain, No Gain! GOTTA LOVE THE HERMANATOR!!!

    I’ll only tune in to these debates when Palin jumps in. She will light off some fireworks for sure. Add Trump in the mix, then it becomes a Must-See event.

    Herman Cain is a radio personality and show man. His words have no debth nor character. He has waffeled on the major decisions of the day. Read the books The Revolution and Liberty Defined by Ron Paul before to judge the man. 15 years in congress and Ron Paul has remained true to the Constitution. Ron Paul is a true and loyal PATRIOT! People who say they like Herman because he knows how to speak should not vote in future elections. They are the ones who brought our country to the brink of destruction, electing TV spokesman (carnival barkers) for government statemen. Please wake up America!
