I thought that Newt Gingrich in recent years was attempting to set himself up to be the present day Ronald Reagan. Newt was making videos extolling Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II, was giving speeches that voiced a combination of fiscal conservatism, social conservatism and national security conservatism and was attacking Obama for radical left wing policies. Last year, Newt gave speeches and he published a book attacking the Obama Democrats for operating a secular socialist machine. But in recent weeks, Newt has very, very badly faltered. A couple of weeks ago, he was asked about personal failings, and he flubbed the answer. Now, Newt has attacked the Ryan budget and embraced the personal health care insurance mandate. It is all seemingly inexplicable.
Any Republican that would consider a photo-op with Nancy Pelosi(D)… Isn’t.

Why did Newt endorse Cap&Tax institutionalized theft?
Why did Newt call a plan to stop (D)emocrats from spending 140% of what the Government can possibly collect on buying votes… “extreme” and “rightwing social engineering”.
An apology isn’t good enough because it won’t make up for the next 2 years of TV commercials featuring Newt Gingrich endorsing Communism.

I had a history professor who said there are two cures for the Presidential fever, victory or death. Newt’s fever will be cured by death. His contributions will dry up and he will be out of the race within 3-4 weeks.
