    Hes the only one out of the field thats speaking practically. I dont care for his foreign policy, but I’ll overlook that for my country, because DOMESTIC POLICY is all that matters right now

    Kooky old bastard’s right about one thing. Under the Constitution, the President’s power is extremely limited. According to Article II, the President shall:

    - be the Commander-in-Chief of the armed services;
    - have the power to grant reprieves and pardons;
    - have the power to make treaties (ratified by the Senate);
    - appoint Ambassadors, Supreme Court judges, and all other Officers of the United States;
    - appoint vacancies that may occur during the recess of the Senate;
    - receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers;
    - make sure that the laws are faithfully executed;

    That’s it.

    Gradually, under the guise of “inherent powers”, along with considerable help from the Collectivist PsyWar Machine (the Media), the office of President has been transformed into something akin to a dictatorship.
