    In this corner, David Barton, preserver of history! And, in this corner, Jon Stewart, perverter of history!

    This just proves the point: If we don’t learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it!! God bless men like Mr. Barton and God save us from the likes of Jon Stewart, purportedly voted ‘Most Trusted Man In America’ after the demise of Walter Cronkite.

      The same statement by Stewart struck me. Barton is very clear, and he is right. Stewart wants to play “gotcha” but can’t.

    How did Barton get to be the great historian in America? Where did he learn the principles of argument and historical research. What are his credentials? Oh, I forgot! Barton is a reconstructionist, so he don’t need no education!

      Looks like Deborah DO need some education! Reconstruction from the ORIGINAL documents? Well, that’s the kind I’m for! David Barton is a brilliant scholar and doesn’t need a “certificate of indoctrination” from any university. Sorry you were educated so poorly. Maybe you should read some of the original documents from our founders like David does.
