    Did anyone know that there are 2 current Formula One tracks, or maybe even 3 already in Texas? Not making much impact or money are they?

    The best known is the Texas World Speedway that was built in the 1960s by Carroll Shelby in College Station and was a true World Class set up that was very much like Datona’s road-track set up. It hosted a bunch of things early and hardly anything at all since 1980s.

    But off course no FIA F1 events in Texas, since Texas gets the snub over California, NY & Indy track.

    There was mention once of doing a F1 race at one of the Dallas or Ft Worth airports & converting it to partial use for racing like they do at Cleveland and a couple of other places for the CART racing series.

      What? That if you don’t pay taxes and barricade yourself in your house law enforcement will come a-knocking… with a battering ram, flash-bangs and a lot of firepower? No shit. Who needs this asshole to tell them that? That’s what makes his schtick so disgusting. He makes a mockery of every single person who recognizes and is actually willing to defend themselves against tyranny.

      You know…I don’t like to pay taxes either and I think that the taxes at every level are to high…but any person who barricades themself in their home, refuses to come out at the command of duly appointed and certified law enforcement authorities, will have the SWAT Team called to extricate them from the house, by force if needed!

      These are the same fools that scream every time police don’t do what they want as fast as they want it done.

      Granted: police are assuming, what I perceive to be, to much military authority and tactics, however, resisting arrest is a crime, and they will pursue you and arrest you with whatever force is deemed necessary to facilitate such and arrest.

      I oppose high taxes…but hope that I am not as foolish as Jones with the display of my dislike.

    How exactly did this piece of shit become so successful? He’s the P.T. Barnum of conspiracy nuts. Everything about him is fake, and obviously so. It’s a disgrace to anyone who has sincere beliefs about anything he talks about. For all the ranting he does about The Man coming to kill him he does a remarkable job of staying alive, well-fed, and well-financed.

      Come on, AZ, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Like I said, sure some of what he says is true, that’s what makes his routine so infuriating. This guy can discredit something, including things that are true, just by talking about it – especially freaking out about it. And his freak-outs are completely fake. You can tell just by looking and listening. It’s an act. And it’s an act that has made this guy a lot of money and made a laughing stock of anyone who, unlike him, sincerely believes in some of the things he talks about – a big one being the question of the legitimacy of the application and enforcement of tax law. This is a serious issue where lives are literally on the line and he turns it into a complete farce. Anyone who does that is beneath contempt.

    Apparently the Texas Legislature just rammed through a tax hike, it’s a sales tax on out of state purchases which is patently unconstitutional and that may a catalyst for the meltdown.

    I don’t know if Gov. Perry signed it into law yet.
