I think his actual emotion gives credence to what he’s seeing. It’s easy, if you’ve never seen what a tornado can do in real life (I have), to brush it off.
I remember watching coverage of the Twin Towers on 9/11 and thinking that it looked like a movie. Well, after movies like Twister and 2012 and shit like that, how else does it become real to our desensitized public? I went to school outside of Joplin, and this blows my mind. I can’t look at pictures without wanting to break down in tears. This video might just bring it on home for those of us Americans who will be fortunate enough to never experience this. I’m glad he did. My God, what devastation!
