I once attended a school taught by a former delta force operator. He made the comment that when he was in Afghansitan in the 80′s he finally met an “enemy that could defeat us” (speaking of the mujahadeen). I had just returned from a combat tour in the same shit hole two months prior to the class, and took offense to the statement. We where kicking the Taliban’s ass while I was there, so I didnt understand he reasoning.

He went on to explain in the most politically corrrect terms he could, due the class setting, that he was referring to Islam defeating us.

On a break I spoke with him in private and explained to him that I had recently returned from A-stan, and we discovered we had operated in alot of the same places. After he became comfortable with me he essentially told me that what he meant by Islam defeating had nothing to do with the battlefield, but at home. He said America’s “multiculturialism” attitude would be its downfall, and it was not what the founders had intended for this country.

When I asked what the solution was, he told me that he didnt know whether it could be stopped at this point because it has occurred slowly over a very long period of time, and was “wrapped in the flag” when it was presented to the American people.

Might not be what yall wanted to hear, but its food for thought
