Palin: Obama Wants To “Go Down With This Sinking Ship”

Sarah Palin said President Barack Obama is downplaying disappointing economic numbers for May, saying he wants to “go down with this sinking ship.”

Responding to new figures showing that the nation’s unemployment rate ticked up slightly to 9.1 percent, Obama said economy is heading in the right direction but that “there will be bumps on the road to recovery.”

Pushing back in an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Palin asserted: “This is not a bump in the road. We’ve hit a brick wall.”

“It’s very noble of President Obama to want to stay at the helm and maybe go down with this sinking ship,” she said. “I prefer and many Americans prefer that we start plugging the hole, that we start powering up the bilge pump, and start getting rid of this unsustainable debt that is sinking our ship.

“We don’t have to go the way of the Titanic,” Palin added. “There are things that have to be put in place before the ship sinks. We don’t have to keep going down the road that we are going on today.”

The former Alaska governor, who is still considering a bid for the Republican presidential nomination, said April’s employment numbers were “skewed” because of McDonald’s “big push” that month to hire about 50,000 people.

    Why is anyone surprised – don’t you remember the fraud saying he was going to transform America? He doesn’t give a damm about this country and the American people (unless they are Soro stooges, i.e. the Dem party & all progressives – both Dem & Repub)- Sarah Palin loves this country and the people and truly believes that WE can bring our country back to the top of the heap and become – once again – the model for the rest of the world instead of becoming less than a 3rd world banana republic which is the current goal of the fraud in chief…………………….

    Obama isn’t going down. The country may be, as intended … but, not Obama. Obama and his cronies have gotten rich off of their gambit and too many voters too stupid to know that Obama has gotten rich while making ‘the rich’ the bogey men.

      As soon as I saw Podesta sitting there, I turned Wallace off. I have no idea what he had to say. Podesta was on the Wallace panel several months ago, but not since. I thought Wallace got so much flak for having a Soros twin on the show, that he wouldn’t have him back. Alas, no such luck. What is Fox coming to?
