I thought that the Wall Street Journal editorial quoted by McCain was harshly worded toward the TEA Party, but the Wall Street Journal and McCain (who does have an outstanding record as a fiscal conservative) are arguing “political realism” in how to fight smart in the present situation and are frustrated that the “purist” position of the TEA Party is not fighting smart and will have very negative political repercussions.
The TEA Party people, the Wall Street Journal and McCain all are against Obama and the Democrats and all see them as utterly irresponsible, which Obama and the Democrats are. The dispute is over the strategy of dealing with the present situation in which Obama and the Democrats are going to be blocking any meaningful plan to reduce spending; even the Boehner plan is unacceptable to Obama and the Democrats. McCain is basically arguing that Republicans cannot be seen as shutting down the Government, like in 1995 when Clinton benefitted politically from Gingrich’s Government shutdown; so Republicans ought to support the Boehner plan which will place the responsibility for what then happens on Obama and the Democrats. If you say no to the Boehner plan, then what do you think is going to happen? Granted, we need to make big, big cuts in spending (except for the military), but how do we accomplish that with the Senate and the White House in Democrat hands?

GODDAMNIT GET OFF OF IT WITH THIS FUCKIN IDIOT!! YOU REALLY MAKE ME SICK WITH THIS SHIT! MCCAIN NEEDS TO HAVE HIS ASS BOUNCED OUT OF POLITICS AS MUCH AS OBAMA!
John McCain said one thing in his speech today in the House criticizing the Republicans and the Tea Party , then goes on Fox News and does a complete turn around regarding what he said in the House about the GOP and the Tea Party . To make news Sean Hannity must of slipped John a ‘Mickey Finn?”
Poopaloopa
McCain slams Hannity’s take on the Debt Ceiling, tells Sean he’s wrong, Sean gets confused and hurt, then they kiss and make up? Yuck! C’mon John, stand a little taller. Almost had a good moment here?
