NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Elite Navy SEALs member Aaron Carson Vaughn had asked the military to return him to combat and shipped out just six weeks before he was killed when a U.S. military helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan, killing 38, including 22 SEALs.

Vaughn’s grandmother, Geneva Vaughn of Union City, Tenn., told The Associated Press on Saturday that her grandson, a Tennessee native, had wanted to be a SEAL since he was a child and returned to combat just two weeks after his 2-month-old daughter was born this summer.

Geneva Vaughn says he was already a decorated fighter when he was asked by the Navy to return stateside to become an instructor. He chafed under the assignment and applied to SEAL Team 6. Military authorities notified the family of his death.

    After observing Obama ever since he appeared on the national stage at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, with near complete certainty, I can guarantee you that Obama could care less about all of the U.S. Military casualties since he became POTUS, including those who died in this recent shoot-down of the 160th SOAR Chinook.
     
    Need proof? Well, if Obama plays golf in the next two weeks, he quite simply doesn’t give a shit about anyone but himself, thus, for me anyways, confirming true Pat Dollard’s Spring 2008 opinion, as stated on Pat’s JKH radio show, that Obama’s a Sociopath/Psychopath, because when U.S casualties escalated due to the Sunni Iraqi insurgency, George W. Bush’s normal level of empathy caused him to ceased and never again as POTUS play a round of golf.
     
    Lack of empathy is the most significant marker in diagnosing Sociopathy/Psychopathy.
     
    You watch, Obama will make some B.S. statement to the butt-kissing press with his usual lack of empathy, and the MSM will repeat it endlessly, thus continuing their cheerleading for Obama’s reelection campaign.
     
    Also, Obama’s biggest long term problem may be that it’s nearly impossible to fake empathy to people who are aware that some people completely lack empathy. In my experience, conservatives are quite good at spotting that and rather quickly. Remember when John Edwards appeared on the national stage? Yeah.
     
    Remember, Obama’s seemingly greatest pleasure is playing golf, so it is in fact relevant.

      He’s at Camp David now and there is a golf course there… any bets. Do you really believe OSB was killed a few weeks ago? hahaha This smells a lot like cleanup after a mob hit! These guys may have spoiled the OSB take down… a slip of security by Karzai or our own spooks?

    Okay, how many of you saw that gruesome execution of those 12 Afgan police by the Taliban (youtube)….. how many of you have seen the Berg beheading… how many of you have seen dead bad guys from the old west in coffins…. but ‘we the people’ cannot see even one picture of the world’s most terrible terrorist because it’s too gruesome?!     should have been a couple of A-10s leading the way. If our military has their
    ass hanging out ten miles with no support then it’s time to pull the plug

    RIP Aaron. i dont know if this is the same one on the pic with my husband but i hope not. I am active duty and i prayed my man didnt have to go over there but he left immediately. im still waiting on the status of his whereabouts now. Im sorry for your loss Ms. Vaughn
