Horseback Rider Delivers Medicine Through Hurricane Flood

Aug 29, 2011 4 Comments ›› Angelia

The Williams River flooded Route 103 in Rockingham, Vermont, closing the road. This horseback rider rode through the flood water to deliver a bag of medicine, and then went back across.

Sometimes old fashion is the answer!

Because it’s been a whopping matter of hours…. and people are already out of “Medicine”.  These people are f***ed in a real emergency that lasts more than a few days.

Gee John Maybe theirs got washed away in their house- even though they just got a new script filled befor the storm.  I used to work in a pharmacy in houston, when hurricans would come thur we used to warn folks to take a zip lock bag and duck tape their meds to their chest– that way it would not get washed away with out them.  :-)

With cops now-a-days, I’m surprised he wasn’t ticketed.
