Politico Arena: “A Weak, Small-Minded President”

Politico:

by Kevin Madden

Candidate Obama, who promised our nation big things, has now shriveled into a weak, small-minded president reduced to ugly character attacks to save one job – his own – while failing the millions of Americans now without a job of their own under his watch.

President Obama is presiding over an economy with a troubling unemployment level, massive spending deficits and a historical downgrade of our nation’s credit rating. An extraordinary failure to produce a record of accomplishment has led President Obama to abandon an issue-oriented campaign in favor of one where he has decided “he will have to kill Romney.”

Gov. Romney, no matter what President Obama’s disagreement with him may be on the economy, is a good and decent man. Gov. Romney is an extraordinary father, a revered grandfather and a devoted husband to his wife Ann. For President Obama to decide that his re-election campaign cannot and should not be about his record on the economy, and instead focused on an effort to “kill Romney” and smear a fellow American putting himself forward for public service, is unconscionable.

Gov. Romney is running for president because our nation needs and deserves a leader with the knowledge and experience to put America back to work. Should Gov. Romney earn the confidence of the American people to do just that, he will stand in stark contrast to President Obama, who is now seeking to cling to his job with a re-election strategy unworthy of the office he now holds.

@ Kevin Madden – “…Obama, who promised our nation big things, has now shriveled into a weak, small-minded president reduced to ugly character attacks to save one job – his own…”

Hey, Kevin Madden, we knew that ten days after he announced his candidacy in 2007.

Every self-identified Conservative in 2007 knew exactly what Obama is and or was underneath the façade of his bullshit back story and we’ll never really understand why everyone else didn’t or still can’t spot it.

That snake oil salesman John Edwards is another one I can’t believe that people couldn’t spot after listening to him for 30 seconds as one of the biggest phonies in the history of American politics.

    It’s a fuckin’ mystery.
