Obama To Keep Same 9-11 Schedule Despite Threat Of Being Blown Up

There will be no schedule changes for President Obama on Sunday despite the report of terrorist threats that coincide with the upcoming 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
“There are no schedule changes,” White House press secretary Jay Carney said Friday.
Obama and first lady Michelle Obama are scheduled to visit Ground Zero in New York, Shanksville, Pa., and the Pentagon in Arlington, Va., that day. Obama is also scheduled to give remarks at a memorial service at the Kennedy Center that evening.
In the days leading up to the anniversary, security had been increased in Washington and New York City in response to what the Department of Homeland Security has called “specific and credible, but unconfirmed” threats of an attack.
Speaking on ABC News’s “Good Morning America” Friday morning, Vice President Biden said aspects of the threat indicated it could be real.
“There are specifics — in that sense it was credible,” Biden said.
But Biden cautioned that it wasn’t a sure thing.
“There’s no smoking gun, but we do have talk about using a car bomb,” he noted.
