Reid Says Senate Is Too Busy To Take Up Obama’s Jobs Bill – With Video

Washington (AP) – Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Republicans won’t support President Barack Obama’s jobs plan, but he still wants them to vote on the sweeping $450 billion economic recovery effort.

Reid said he won’t immediately take up Obama’s plan because the Senate must tackle other issues first. He didn’t specify which bills would receive priority over Obama’s economic solution.

Reid’s comments came during his first Twitter town hall, where the Nevada Democrat fielded questions from voters on job creation, tax cuts, online poker, the housing market and other issues. Nevada has the highest unemployment rate in the nation at 12.9 percent. The national jobless rate is 9.1 percent.

“America has never ever seen the poverty that we see now,” Reid said. “We don’t have to be mathematicians to understand that that’s not good for our country.”

Huh maybe dirty harry has had enough of oboms stupidity too? Has decided to just wait out the time he has left, come on 2012!

Harry knows that he could lose all of the Dem Seats up for reelection next year if they vote for this loser!

And what issues are they tackling? All Reid has done since the new session began is sit on his ass dreaming about a Democrat dictatorship of this country and run his mouth about Tea Party ‘terrorists’. Obama can still count on him 100%. Don’t doubt it. After 3 years of this shit I smell a ploy to continue to beat the drum of Republican obstructionism. That won’t work anymore … everybody who isn’t blind can ‘see’ now what they’re up to. But, Dems, especially liberals, are ignorant and mentally deranged. So, they’ll keep trying.

Reid still wants to be in control of the senate after the 2012 election.  He knows obama’s loss (hopefully) will cause the democrats to lose the senate.
