Kyle Hockenberry, of 4th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Infantry Regiment, 1st Heavy Combat Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, who was injured in an improvised explosive device attack near Haji Ramuddin, is treated by flight medic Cpl. Amanda Mosher while being transported by medevac helicopter to the Role 3 hospital at Kandahar Air Field in Afghanistan on June 15, 2011. Kyle lost both of his legs, below the knees, and his right arm in the initial explosion. It is also reported his doctors were forced to removed his left arm, below the elbow

    I have a few , ok a lot, of combat sons.  I have to take care of them the best ways I can.. one of those ways is making sure others see them and their honor.  BTW  Thank you for serving  USMC3112 Take Luck!!

    Took me a few hours to find out about Kyle.. who he was because when I found the pic there was no caption. I am now in the process of finding out where he is and if he or his family needs anything. There is a fund set up for him if you google his name.

    Good work Angelia…keep it up…people must never lose sight and never forget why those brave young men and women are there and why we are fighting the fight that we are fighting..

    My prayers go out to Pfc Hockenberry and his family…May the God of heaven bless him and keep him close to his heart.
