October 11th, 2011 (14) Posted By Pat Dollard.

IBOPE-Zogby:

UTICA, NY–Herman Cain has opened up a 20 percentage point lead among likely Republican primary voters in the race for the Presidential nomination, and also holds a narrow lead among all likely voters over President Barack Obama.

Cains share of the GOP primary has jumped 10 percentage points since Sept. 26 and is now at 38%. Mitt Romney is second with 18%, followed by both Rick Perry and Ron Paul, at 12% each.

The Oct. 3-5 IBOPE Zogby interactive poll also matches Cain, Romney and Perry against Obama. Cain led Obama, 46%-44%, while Obama is one-point ahead of Romney, 41%-40%, and leads Perry, 45%-40%.

As for President Barack Obama, both his job approval (41%) and the percentage who believe he deserves re-election (38%) are virtually unchanged from recent polls.

It is clear to me which one I would hire to fix a difficult problem.  That would be the man who stated to Hannity, “I never took a class on political correctness.”
To paraphrase another poster to this site, the kenyan needs to be beaten with a Cain.

This is because Conservatives do not want another ‘conservative democrat’ in the white house. I don’t want a Mr.  Nice Guy. I want a serious Conservative who isn’t afraid to tell the Truth and ruffle a few feathers and takes action toward making conservative Truth a realization. We don’t need another liberal in conservative clothing. No more “reaching across the aisle!”

    Cain’s my man!

If Cain gets the nomination, you get 4 more years of obama. A independent candidate will emerge and split the vote. As much as you may love Cain, the southeast will sit at home before they vote for him, or the will vote independent.

Sorry to hear that.  I don’t think you mean they prefer the kenyan.

I believe that Newt has it all over everybody in the field vis a vis experience and knowledge.  However, in my opinion, Newt, Romney, and Perry are all more or less RINOs.  Bachman and probably Santorum are conservatives, but are struggling now.  However, so was McCain at this point in the last election, so that is a positive for the conservatives.  Paul is not a contender, I think.

I don’t doubt Cain’s conservative credentials, and he is doing well in the polls.

They do not prefer the Kenyan, they do not want another black president. I will sit at home or vote for an independent myself. I dont care for the rest of the field either, but as soon as someone can point out a civilization in history that has been sucessfully run by a black man, I will reconsider cain. (chirp, chirp, chirp)

People may have voted for Obama because he was black (well half black) but I don’t think race really is an issue.  If they voted for Obummer looking for change, Cain would REALLY be a change!  No political baggage and a great work ethic with success in business. America needs THAT kind of change!

I’m a S.E. LA girl, and would vote for him in a heartbeat!  Many folks here in the SOUTH, would gladly beat Obama with a Cain, (or a cane!) Anyone with an ounce of common sense and decency, that is!

I honestly don’t care who beats Romney.  He needs to get the clue and disappear.  he thinks he looks like a president, but has no clue how to act like a president.  Rino to the core.
