Good points. Heard a discussion yesterday about the change in primary campaigns. It used to be about organizations and “boots on the ground.” Now it seems as if we have a new “reality” show with the debates. We are hooked on watching to see what gaffes occur, not what new ideas the candidates have. One person said he watches these thinking he has to vote on who next to put off the island. Hate is much easier to evoke than respect.  It has something to do with our primitive brains.
