Ron Paul: American Military Is To Blame For “Inspiring” Bin Laden To Commit 9-11 Terror Attacks – With Video

November 23rd, 2011 (49) Posted By Pat Dollard.

Because the big bad American military had its big bad bases in Saudi Aradia, bin Laden did the sensible and defensible thing and attacked us on 9-11, is what he’s saying here. Ron Paul is the military’s worst enemy masquerading as its best friend. Ron Paul has hated the United States Military since he was drafted. If you listen to him closely, every rant he makes against US overseas presence and “undeclared” wars, is a rant against the Vietnam War, a rant with the rhetoric and talking points that originatated with that war’s anti-war movement and are as basically as old as it. Ron Paul has been on the same fucking anti-Vietnam war tirade since he was drafted by the military to fight in the “undeclared” Vietnman war that originated out of, in his view, unnecessary US bases and presence overseas, out of “unnecessary meddling” in self-declared foreign enemy countries, blah, blah, you know the drill. The military interrupted and fucked up his life, for no good reason, in his view. On a payback trip, he is as low a deceitful scumbag as Barack Obama is. Ron Paul’s foreign policy is nothing more than his ancient ant-Vietnam War policy, writ large, and edited for updates. Ron Paul is a mental disorder, affecting millions, as is common with mental disorders, including those particular to cults.

How’s that for a rapid series of declarative sentences, each one begging its own article?

ah… Well of course… why didn’t we think of that? It’s the military’s fault that a bunch of stone age savages attacked American civilians on 9/11…  You’re an idiot Ron Paul. I have a nifty idea, lets send YOU to talk to these bastards. Alone.

How fucking offensive is to those of us who serve? WTF! This fucking idiot needs to just go away and retire. Scarier yet, are his supporters. I don’t want to offend anyone of them, why would you support someone who thinks like this. We in the Military follow orders, or pack your bags, Period! I thought obama bots were scary and brain washed. Being patriotic means will show your pride in the best that America has to offer, including supporting the military. Bin ladin organized attacks because muuuuuslims hate our freedom and way of life. To commit jihad is the duty of every muuuuuuuuuuuslim to attack civilian and military. That’s what the pos koraaaaan says, that is why they attack our Country.

“We in the Military follow orders, or pack your bags, Period!”

… And yet you’re not a “bot”??  Have fun enthusiastically following orders you’re too dumb to question.  Have fun defending 3rd world countries and promoting the foreign policy of anti-American globalists who could really care less about upholding the Constitution you are supposedly sworn to protect.  Trust me, these D.C. big wigs have your best interest in mind.  These policy makers in the Bush and Obama administrations are the real Patriots.  You should get on your knees and bow down to them and offer them a hearty USMC salute!!

    • http://patdollard.com USMC3112

It is called all orders that are “Lawful” This applies to the UCMJ. If there is an unlawful order given, then it is the Marines responsibility to professional disobey. It has nothing to do with being a “Bot” as you say. As Marines we don’t have the time or luxuary to question the mission. We pick up move out and shape the battlefield. That is what Marines do, we make Marines and win battles. It is what it is.

we need you marines in Afghanistan to help protect the opium fields that are then harvested and sent to America. Wake up the wars that you are fighting are for corporations to gain access to the natural resources of the countries we invade. How do you feel about the contractors that make about 5 times more than the troops that are protecting them.

Your anger is misdirected.  Paul is NOT blaming the military. He IS blaming the people whose foreign policies put our military in foreign nations for mostly the wrong reasons, which got our military INTO the messes they’ve had to clean up.  Check your history (Persia/Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan…) and go back over the past 60 years or so.  We have installed dictators, armed rebellions (including the Taliban!) and tried to project power just to protect OUR supply of THEIR oil.  The crazy thing is, we have enough beneath our own land and waters to be independent of OPEC.  Those people are PISSED at us because we have continually elected MORONS who perpetuate this insanity.  I’m ashamed to admit it, but I’ve voted for some of those morons.  It’s time to stop buying their B.S.  It may hurt to hear it, but Paul is RIGHT.  He’s the only one in the field of candidates who has the brass tacks to tell it like it is.  The others are just pandering to our desire to believe that we’ve made the wise decisions to elect flag-waving geniuses who have had nothing but the best interests of this nation at heart.  Those other ones are the ones you should be pissed at; they’re LYING to you.  Either they’re deliberately ignoring the truth to appeal to the patriot in you or else they’re pretending to know enough to be Commander in Chief.  Either way, they’re unqualified.

    • Lou

You boys are seriously misguided into thinking that if we just leave them alone and play nicee nice that they will simply go away..The bottom line is we will at some point in time have an all out epic battle with these folks..They have a long term goals towards spreading their ideology, power and control as stated in their Koran..they are carrying out their orders to the T… So at what point do we confront these people?? Wait until they acquire nuclear weapons..trust me you don’t want that..We are going to have to face the fact that we will be in a long drawn out war of mini battles, country by country perhaps.. People like you thinking if we just keep our nose out of other peoples business then maybe we could get along..that ain’t the way the world works..we are a Super Power whether you like it or not and along with that comes some major responsibilities you people apparently are unable to decipher….you ought to seriously rethink your priorities and thank our men and women in the military and quit your euphoric nonsense..That land over there with those extremist regimes are, were and still a threat to our national security, all of them, including our so called friendsw and don’t doubt it for one moment…

I will give you a scenario here. Lets just say that China sent troops to the USA to hunt down and kill people that were planning to attack their soldiers and inflict chaos where they were. Now lets say they were also here to promote their  way of doing things. What do you think we would do? I know I would take up arms and try to snipe/destroy/mame/rape and inflict pain on any of them any way I could. I would expect many of you would join me. Dr. Paul is just trying to point out that when you occupy a foreign land and try to enforce change both political and religious there will be repercussions. He does not support these people and voted to destroy Bin Ladden with any means possible. Dr. Paul supports protecting this wonderful country more then any politician (president)  has for generations. If there is a threat he will bring it to congress, get a vote to declare war and destroy without mercy anyone who threatens the life or freedom of any American citizen.
Come on people wake up, isnt it obvious the same ol’ same ol’ is not working. If anyone votes for anyone other then Dr. Paul you are guaranteed to get the same results.

  • Hale White

You people are delusional if you actually think these wars are in the interest of protecting America.  We should just assume that because we’re constantly at war, it must be the right thing.  Never question the Pentagon or the military-industrial complex.  We’ll just keep funneling the Pentagon bureaucrats unlimited amounts of money that we don’t have because nation building is a real Constitutional mandate.. right.  Why is it that Islam wants to “take over the world and establish a worldwide caliphate to rule forever”, but it’s the U.S. with 900 military bases in 135 countries.  Hmmm…

  • Guest

I don’t understand why people find this so hard to understand.  Paul is not blaming America and is not blaming the troops.  It’s not that hard to understand.  All he is saying is that it is ignorant to ignore the impact of our foreign policy, constant intervention and nation building on other peoples.  We go in whenever we want, bomb whatever we wants, kill civilians, build bases.. and we don’t think those people are going to end up wanting to turn around and attack us?  Iraq was a sham.  Iraq was NEVER about National Security.  And we lost thousands of soldiers, thousands more injured, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis CIVILIANS impacted over the years… and for what?  Oil and military contracts.  Don’t be so naive.  Paul wants to bring our troops home.  Let’s build our national DEFENSE, not continuing spending on our national OFFENSE.  If he is suck a loon why is he receiving more contributions from active duty military than anyone?

Come on Pat. You can’t really believe this old man is as bad as you say in your speech.

What nerve has this guy touched that you all have such venom. He just feels that Jews are equal to Muslims.

Are Jews the “master race” in their own minds?

Are Muslims the “master race” in their own minds?

Let them both fuckin kill each other so the rest of us can live in calmness and upper mobility.

Frankly the world would be a better place without Judaism AND Islam.

You are foolish. These wars make us less safe. Ron Paul’s top three contributors are the servicemen and women of the US Navy, Army, and Air Force.

But you don’t like facts do you? You don’t like history do you? You love your ignorance, and your servitude, and your mindless slavery to a war machine that kills our troops abroad and makes us less safe at home. You love the Patriot Act. You hate the Constitution. You love giving up your rights so you can feel safe.

There is no reasoning with you. There is no discussion to be had. You are a blissfully ignorant, sheep of a person. I’m thankful that so many are waking up to the results of these isolationist wars of aggression. I’m thankful Ron Paul is man enough to face the warmongers head on. One day, as you sit in self imposed chains of despondency, withering in self pity and despair, wondering why you are so poor, pathetic, and imprisoned, perhaps you will think back to this moment–a moment when the chance to turn things around was staring you in the face–and you will groan in utter despair at your total depravity.

What is your military service record?

Learn some history. The United States Government has been interfering, often violently, in the internal affairs of middle-eastern nations since at least the 1950′s. 9/11 is what our own CIA admits is blowback from our government’s policies. The “they hate us for our freedom” argument holds no water. Continuing the same belligerent policies only creates more enemies and makes us less safe.
Also, there is no sane human being on this planet that can justify US involvement in Viet Nam. I think it’s time for you to seek professional help.

      J. Generally speaking, a problem that a nation with a large military faces is requests and special favors in the form of alliances and strategic relationships.  When Saudi Arabia, due to its leaders’ fears concerning national security, begs for assistance from the U.S., the unfortunate response from America has tended to be for too long, “Yes.  We’re here to help you.”

The ability to say “no, you’re responsible for your own security, and the United Nations is the institution for which all agreements concerning international security should be made through” is really what must be said.  The U.S. military has indeed become unaccountable to the nation in terms of preparation and funding and planning being directed to what actually constitutes our national interests in defense and war.  The U.S. military is a great and admirable institution, but its decisions in time of peace are sometimes very irrational and self-defeating.  The issue that the civilian-military barrier resolves is military leadership taking over the political leadership and using it for its own narrow interests, but in the resolution of this issue lies the seeds of another problem; namely, the fact that the two institutions are actually separated by a barrier and divide, which obstructs any tendencies for military affairs to be discussed and voted on by the public.  Of course, we trust the decisions of the military generally and the military’s decisions can’t be held accountable to a “direct democracy” in any realistic and practicable, or even desirable way.  But what about a decision to build military bases in Saudi Arabia?  Surely that is a form of extraneous and unnecessary military expansion.  Was this ever voted on by the public?  Probably not.

You say Ron Paul hates the millitary. Look who his number one donor is. Actually, look who his top four donors are. The United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. If he hates the military, then they sure do love him.
