There was more to the Obama statement than just “lazy.” He should have shown the full statement. Congress sets its own pay, not the President. Cutting the Congressional pay would make the legislators more susceptible to bribery. The pay has little to do with the problem. Perry is trying to capitalize on the current feelings of disgust with the inactions of Congress. I hope he can improve his message.

Sandra.. do you really believe that foreigners on their own soil will take anything out of the Apologist in Chiefs statement other then lazy? Do you really believe they’ll respect him more for it? It will only add fuel to the hatred and envy towards the US and for him of all people to go around shooting his mouth off trying to placate other countries is just a total joke….as far as the congressional pay part, I’ll tend to agree with you there, corruption is rampant and is all too easy as it is to get carried away regardless of pay…
