“The Occupation Party”: #Occupiers Announce Formation of New Political Party

In a press release issued on Saturday, a group of occupiers from Cincinnati announced the formation of a new political party called “The Occupation Party.” Here’s a link to their press release and a link to their website. Perhaps the occupiers are finally realizing they need to engage in the political process rather than civil disobedience to address their grievances.

    A political party should start with a platform and then go for candidates. I don’t think we’ll see much from this group.
