Daily Caller founder/chief Tucker Carlson wants Romney to be the GOP nominee. Perhaps that influenced this report, perhaps not. You decide.

In the face of overwhelming visual evidence, Newt Gingrich foreign policy adviser Ilan Berman denied to The Daily Caller in the spin room of CNN’s GOP presidential primary debate Tuesday that the former speaker of the House looks down contemptuously on his Republican rivals when they dare try to challenge one of his positions.

    Gingrich is not to be trusted .. either to win the election or to govern honestly or to govern as a conservative … Contract with America was never kept … Fredie Mae and Mac hired Gingrich for millions as their spokesman … And Gingrich did a Global Warming commerical with Pelosi ..
