USA Today:

The Pennsylvania attorney general is investigating a teenager’s allegation that Jerry Sandusky raped him in the Penn State football building in 2004, two years after the former assistant coach was a banned from bringing children into the facility, Fox News reports.

The young man, now 19, has sued Penn State, Sandusky and his charity, Second Mile, for the alleged sexual assault when he was a 12-year-old attending a summer camp football.

Fox writes:

The teen’s lawyer, Charles Schmidt, told FoxNews.com in an interview on Thursday that Sandusky lured the boy into an office seven years ago, plied him with alcohol and raped him. He said Sandusky then gave the boy Penn State football championship memorabilia, walked him outside and handed him off to a Second Mile counselor.

Schmidt said the alleged rape is believed to have happened in Sandusky’s office in the Lasch football building.

Sandusky faces trial on 52 counts of child abuse and misconduct.

Two weeks ago, a judge ruled that two Penn State officials can be tried on charges of lying to a grand jury in the university’s child sex-abuse scandal.
