SANDUSKY, Ohio— Being booed off stage during karaoke night at a Sandusky bar didn’t sit too well with one patron and it ultimately led to his arrest for assault.
According to an incident report filed by Sandusky Police, Isiah Johnson, 20, was booed off stage while performing karaoke at Cabana Jack’s on Columbus Avenue.
Johnson reacted to being booed by bar patrons by throwing down the microphone. That led to him being removed from the bar.
The incident report says Johnson later walked back inside. He again was asked to leave but this time refused.
Several people in the bar tried to help bartenders remove Johnson from the business, and that when he punched three people in the face.
After police arrived Johnson was taken into custody and officers determined he was, “under the influence of intoxicants.”
He was charged with three counts of assault, underage consumption, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and persistent intoxication.
