TV Commercials “Meant To Eradicate Islamophobia” Running In Chicago

(WBEZ) — Some new TV ads in Chicago are trying to portray Islam in a good light.

The ads will be broadcasted on some cable channels for the next three months. Dr. Sabeel Ahmed, the Director of Gain Peace Project-Chicago, said the commercials are meant to eradicate Islamophobia.

“It’s very important for us to realize that by watching these ads, we hope that the viewers could realize that Islam is not a faith to be feared but a faith that cherishes human values, a faith that encourages its followers to reach out to the neighbors and to the community,” Ahmed said.

He said the groups hope to expand the ads nationwide with more support and funding.

      mike, sounds like you’ve been reading Joel Richardson’s book, “the islamic anti-christ” – a great read, which really makes sense when you see the ascendancy of islam worldwide – it also makes you realize how close to the end we are getting…..

    Fuck these idiots. These commercials are going against human nature, we associate terror and death with Islam. Therefore, our ancient survival mechanisms in the brain will not allow it. Our body uses our senses to tell our brain about our environment, the images our eyes see when we see Muslims sets off an automatic alarm to the brain, saying,”uh fuck no walk the other way.” We’ve been conditioned due to their own violence for years, no shitty commercial is going to wipe that away.
