Yahoo/Daily Caller:

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s tarmac confrontation with President Barack Obama has made her November 2011 book the second-fastest rising title on Amazon’s best-seller list. The book is also now the top seller in Amazon’s “public policy” category.

Brewer’s televised face-off alongside Air Force One ended when Obama walked away as she firmly rejected his claim that her book mischaracterized their 2010 Oval Office meeting.

“He was a little thin-skinned,” she said during a radio interview on News/Talk 92.3 KTAR. “I was a bit taken aback by his stance and his attitude… [and he walked way when] I was trying to make a point that I thought that my book was right and correct.”

However, Obama is on the 2012 campaign trail, and he’s using the immigration issue to win support among the many Hispanics who give him low ratings for his economic policies. His public snub of Brewer showcased his opposition to immigration enforcement: She was the primary champion of the state’s 2010 immigration enforcement and reform law.

Brewer’s book is titled “Scorpions for Breakfast; My Fight Against Special Interests, Liberal Media, and Cynical Politicos to Secure America’s Border.”

After the confrontation, her book shot up to no. 29 on Amazon’s charts, a nearly 1 million percent rise above its previous rank of 285,568.

Her sales growth was only outpaced by large scale-orders of a unpublished book, “Weber’s Smoke: A Guide to Smoke Cooking for Everyone and Any Grill.” That cookbook is due for publication in April.

Her sales growth has outpaced the new biography of Gen. David Petraeus, “All In.” His bio, penned by Paula Broadwell, rose from no. 240 to no. 64.

How did he exploit his daughters?

He constantly brings them up in stories and interviews. To show his “human” side.

It’s the one thing that is keeping many people from seeing what a commie he is. They think he is “nice” or a “good” Dad.

when that has very little to do with being President.

This is why everyone here takes exception to everything you post.  People here are all for freedom speech but we aren’t fond of stupidity. You represent the part of this country that apparently refuses to accept the reality of what the current president stands for as well as whatever nonsense he has planned for the future.  After reading an entire post laying out the president’s inability to accept criticism, along with the hypocrisy he displays when it comes to the use/mentioning of his family, you post a question like this.  People don’t have the time to look up all the instances where O has used his daughters for some sort of gain, I don’t know how to do the tiny URL thing but here you go…..http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2068850/President-Barack-Obama-worried-daughters-Malia-Sasha–U-S-fails.html?ITO=1490, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/16/obamas-sasha-malia-principal_n_862807.html, and http://content.usatoday.com/communities/theoval/post/2011/12/obama-no-facebook-for-malia-sasha/1. Here are 3 quick results from a simple web search.  If you have the time to write a post, you have the time to look it up yourself.
We are a bunch of non-PC commenters/posters who see the reality of what is happening in this country.  When the “leaders” and “newsworthy” say, do, or profess ridiculous ideas and behaviors, you had better believe that we will not be gentle with our reactions.  In case you haven’t noticed it, these aforementioned people are doing their best to change America into something that it was never meant to be and not in a good way.
As long as you continue to make the type of comments you do, people here will continue to treat you in the appropriate manner.  So maybe before you post something like this next time, you should spend a few minutes pondering the meaning/reality of the article you’re reading, do some simple research on whatever you want to comment about and then decide if you’re comment is really necessary.

Mentioning his daughters is not the same as exploitation. If he never mentioned them, many people would complain that he doesn’t care about them. He and his wife have done the best they could to maintain a normal childhood for the girls. I don’t have to look these instances up.
I read the articles posted very carefully and only remark on things I know about. When I ask a question it is because I either don’t understand the subject or I don’t understand the premise of the conclusion(s).
I would suggest that when you see my book lady avatar you skip the posting. Then you won’t be offended. Thank you.

Anytime he mentions his daughters he is exploiting them.  The three articles I linked to are focused on his daughters, hence the fact that they are being used, by him, in order to promote his image.  If you would like to argue that the media that wrote the article is responsible for his daughters being in the news, I have some ocean front property in Illinois I can sell you real cheap.  Your defense of “If he never mentioned them, many people would complain that he doesn’t care about them.”  is laughable at best.  Lets play a little game with that.  If he never mentioned___, many people would complain that he doesn’t care about ___.   First off, their are quite a few things he never mentions, so apparently a LARGE number of people have a LOT of complaining to do.  Secondly, his job is to be the President of the United States of America,  not to appease people so that they don’t complain.
You’re posts aren’t offensive, people here don’t get offended, but they are just begging for ridicule, mocking and general debauchery.    You’re welcome.

I’m glad my posts aren’t offensive. Many people have wanted my posts to be banned. If you want to see what exploitation of children looks like, I have another person who wins the prizes.
