    FUCK CHRISTY, THAT FAT FUCK!!!!!!! As an Active duty Marine 11 years and counting multiple deployments I’M OFFENDED! Seeing so many of my freinds killed and mamed! Including that mom who barried her Marine son. ATTLA and other Marines who post on this site and have given their all for this country and seen their Marine friends die in operations, THEY DESERVE TO HAVE THE FLAG FLY AT HALFMAST! IT IS BEYOND ME HOW AN ELECTED MEMBER OF GOVERNMENT COULD BE SO DISRESPECTFUL TO ARMY,NAVY,AIR FORCE,MARINE MEMBERS WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES PROTECTING THIS COUNTRY IS DISGUSTING!!!!!!CHRISTY, EVEN IF YOU ARE A REPUBIC, DO YOU KNOW OR HAS ANYONE EXPLAINED CUSTOMES AND COURTISIES GOVERNING OUR FLAG??????OR ARE YOU FLYING THE FLAG AT HALFMAST TO GAIN POLITICAL POINT’S WITH THE NJ BLACK COMMUNITY FOR VOTES??What has Whitney Houston done for her country besides the super bowl national anthiem? It the “POP CULTURE” she can do no wrong.I’m sure she donated time,money to charities etc. BUT IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF OUR COUNTRY SHE HASN’T DONE JACK SHIT FOR AMERICA COMPARED TO MILITARY MEMEBERS WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES, THEY DESERVE TO HAVE THE NJ FLAG TO BE FLOWN AT HALFMAST, FOR THEY HAVE TRULY EARNED OUR COUNTRY’S RESPECT, FOR THEY HAVE EARNED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My 28+ year Veteran, US Army retired, officer husband (now retired) redeployed safely back to CONUS because of so many brave marines like you.  thank you.  
    My service-disabled husbands speaks highly of your courage, your abilities, your devotion, and knows your sacrifices at home. The USMC, DoD and US Allies know the true threat that you deal with.Thank you for confronting hypocrisy when you think you see it.I believe,  NJ’s Commander-In-Chief  knows not what he does all-the-time, and I worry about the people around him who help direct his decisions.

    Im convinced christys- a left wing plant,he says 1 thing does another,he walks talks and eats like a Democratic,,i loved whitney she was a wanderful singer ,good person,be easy on her.but your right,why doesnt the flag fly half staff up there for our lost heroes.I live in a small back woods kentucky town,but if we loose 1 of our heros,our post offices flag drops to half staff.it even drops when we loose a friend or a nabor,who served years ago.we love our soldiers here.christy your a punk you might of baught a few black votes in the hood,but you will loose the fight for this 1

     Drug addiction is a really difficult thing to recover from. take it from someone who knows. I pray for her family and am sorry for their loss, and for addicts everywhere that have to listen to everyone saying “who cares, she was just a junkie” To her family, she was more than just some junkie. That being said, Christy is way out of line… and if the nation is going to shed tears over a singer, they should have the decency to shed tears over their fallen heroes as well.

    I do not blame this woman one bit, it is sickening to me how anyone can even consider flying the flag at halfmast for a drug addict, our world is becoming a laugh and whoever allows this to happen should be ran out of town.. She has gotten to much media attention already.. what about our soldiers who served our country to keep peace, they get an honorable mention in a local newspaper.. So sad!

    I agree   it is a disgrace to fly the flag  half mast for a singer that really took her own life in her own hands and THESE MEN AND MEAN MEN  who fight to safe us and are country from harm   and do this with out drugs  in their  bodies   they use their hearts and souls for us   LET THE FLAG FLY HALF MAST EVERY DAY FOR THE MEN AND WOMEN WHOM  SAFES US FROM HARM      for a singer to us drugs and dies   they them have a few nails added to their  grave   they  won them    not medals    soldiers do     go men and women      and thank you for the service that you do
