“Space Traders” was produced by HBO films and is based on a short story writhed by Prof. Derrick Bell, Barack Obama’s Harvard Law professor. Big Hollywood: “Bell eventually resigned from Harvard in 1992, and continued to stir controversy. He wrote a short story, “The Space Traders,” in which he imagined that Americans would sell blacks to aliens in exchange for gold to repay the national debt. He also implied that Jews would help blacks only out of a sense of self-preservation, turning Holocaust victim and diarist Anne Frank into “the symbol of Jewish hypocrisy.””

    Saw this when it first aired in the mid 90s on HBO the guy that wrote it thought he was making a case against Racism, what he did was make a case for it.

    In the story it’s explained that the aliens used radio and television transmissions of Reagan to replicate his voice.

    Thanks for the clips.  This isn’t racist nor radical.  I thought it was entertaining and thought provoking.  I’m going to get the full version.  Over three years President Obama has been in office and none of his ACTIONS have proved he has any disdain for white people.  If this is some kind of proof for how he “thinks”, then this is pathetic.

    Wow, you guys a nucking futz. You mouth-breathers do know Bell didn’t produce this movie, he wrote the short story from which the HBO one-shot series was based. You getting pissed at Bell for this A-D-A-P-T-A-T-I-O-N of his work is like getting mad at Phillip K Dick for “Inception” or “The Adjustment Bureau.” Yall dont care much about that though; to you its all about that righteous indignation you’ve been saving up ever since you saw your first black man naked in the showers in gym class.
    And, of course, you convoluted the point to somehow make it an attack on poor ol Ron Reagan who showed overt averice towards non-whites throughout his terms.
    Tell ya what: why dont yall just don your lil’ white robes like you’ve been dying to do since Obama got elected and make it official. We all know why you really cant stand Obama. You’re all just too big of pusses to admit it.
