Since Obama has taken office on that dreaded day in January 2009, he has amassed over $5 trillion dollars in new debt. But I think most people have a hard time wrapping their minds around the vastness of that number. So I thought I would make a few observations.
As of April 22nd, Obama has been in office for three years and 92 days. That makes a grand total of 1187 days in office. I’m sure the $5 trillion has gone up since topping that number earlier this month but let’s just stay there. I’m also sure that you are going to say, “Hey wasn’t some of that Bush’s spending or natural increase in the deficit?” If Obama was so worried about it, he could have stopped it. If you saw a giant mountain of money that had suddenly started burning and the guy that lit it had walked off, don’t you think you would try to put it out? But, no, Obama has danced around it hosing it down with lighter fluid like a crazed pyromaniac while shouting “I can’t believe he set this on fire?!” So, all $5 trillion of this is Obama’s. So that means that in the 1187 days that Obama has been president he has spent a whopping $4.2 billion dollars a day. That is equivalent to the entire net worth of Virgin airlines owner Richard Branson spent every day. Obama has spent $175 million dollars a hour, that is $2.9 million dollars every second. The median household income in the United States is $49,000 dollars. Obama is blowing through that every 17 milliseconds. How does that make you feel right about now? Pretty pissed huh?
Well let’s take it a step further. If you took Bill Gates’ entire net worth of $61 billion dollars and paid that same amount every year, it would take 75 years just to pay off what Obama has rung up. If you confiscated every billionaires net worth on Earth, let’s just skip the United States because we need more, it would still not equal what Obama has spent in 1187 days in office. The net worth of $4.6 Trillion dollars of the world’s billionaires could not pay off the bill Obama has given us. Right now I kind of feel like that Columbian prostitute, I’m angry, confused, and my ass hurts.
Just if you’re curious, the man running against Obama in November, Mitt Romney, is worth 20,000 times less than what Obama has spent in 1187 days. Who’s the elitist? Let’s remember November and get this bastard out.
