Excerpted from The Los Angeles Times: Lindsay Lohan found unconscious in a hotel penthouse! Lindsay Lohan rushed to the hospital! Lindsay Lohan … well, Lindsay Lohan will have to wait for another day for those headlines, because that’s not what went down Friday, despite early reports to the contrary.
Paramedics were in fact called to the “Liz & Dick” actress’ room at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey on Friday morning, but the actress was fine, according to rep Steve Honig and attorney Shawn Chapman Holley.
After spending 13 hours on set, Lohan retired to the hotel around 8 a.m. for a nap before shooting her final scene, Honig said.
Lohan was suffering some exhaustion and dehydration, he said, but wasn’t taken to the hospital. “Lindsay was never taken to a hospital; reports to the contrary are false,” Honig said in a statement. “She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon.”
Attorney Holley also chimed in. “As I understand it, she was exhausted, after shooting nonstop for two days,” she told KABC a little before noon. “Someone called paramedics, for reasons which are unclear. They determined that she was fine.”
Honig said producers got worried when Lilo didn’t answer the door of her hotel room, and called paramedics as a precaution.
TMZ had a very similar account, with slightly different details. A private doctor was on the way to see the actress, who allegedly had complained of exhaustion, the website said. The doctor reportedly called ahead to the hotel and asked to have someone from the hotel check on Lohan; when she didn’t answer the door, 911 was called.
Lohan has been shooting scenes for “Liz & Dick” in the Marina del Rey area.
