Excerpted from The Daily Caller: Former Vice President Al Gore has finally weighed in on Hurricane Sandy, warning that the monster storm is a “disturbing sign of things to come” because of climate change.
Gore commenced his Tuesday blog post by suggesting that people donate or volunteer to assist hurricane victims, before launching into his signature issue, climate change.
“Hurricane Sandy is a disturbing sign of things to come,” Gore explained in his “Statement on Hurricane Sandy.”
“We must heed this warning and act quickly to solve the climate crisis. Dirty energy makes dirty weather,” he said.
