Excerpted from NBC Chicago: Fifteen Proviso West High School students were suspended this week and face expulsion following a big fights on campus on Monday.
District officials said school security contacted Hillside police at about 10:30 a.m. that day regarding a fight in the school cafeteria.
Video posted to YouTube on Monday is purportedly from that fight.
“This was a bunch of pushing and punching. It was a very typical high school fight,” said Hillside Police Chief Joseph Lukaszek.

That incident was “quickly contained,” school officials said, and 15 students were immediately arrested and suspended from school.
