Honoring an American Hero, Chris Kyle, Navy SEAL and “American Sniper”
It’s good to see Sarah Palin took the time to show her respect for a hero and warrior who represented what is great about America.
Palin made the announcement that she, along with her husband Todd, planned to attend the funeral for Chris Kyle on her Facebook page Monday morning with this message:
“We may never know to what extent Chris kept us free or how many lives he saved by his brave actions in the line of fire. But his fellow warriors know how important he was,” Palin said in the statement. “God bless this great warrior. Let us keep his wife and children in our prayers, and may we never forget him or his sacrifice.”
Palin also made mention that she would like to see flags flown at half staff to honor Kyle.
Christopher Kyle was America’s deadliest sniper, saving countless American lives and innocent Iraqi lives during his four tours of duty in Iraq.
It’s sad to think the “Commander in Chief” has still been silent and will likely continue to say nothing to honor or remember Chris Kyle’s heroism and legacy.
However, as many on twitter shared tweets of remembrance photos from the 200 mile funeral processional to the cemetery, where thousands of patriots showed their respect for a man many didn’t know but honor and respect.
In addition, over three thousand have signed a petition online to request the Pentagon name a Navy ship after Chris Kyle. The White House now requires 100, 000 signatures to receive a reply from the White House. Please share this link if you agree.
Farewell Christopher Scott Kyle you may be gone, but NEVER forgotten!
