I’ve avoided joining umbrella organizations in order to maintain complete editorial independence. I don’t have to worry about offending anyone, and I don’t have to follow any rules. What this costs me is the automatic advertising revenue that comes with being part of a group like, say, the great Pajamas Media. The site costs real money and real time ( which is worth money ) to maintain, and keep updated with all the breaking news on the war on terror. With politics and other forms of entertaining insanity thrown in from time to time. I underwrite my contributors, and have brought on renowned videomaster Ian Schwartz as the first step of advancing the site’s video profile. I have added new features and will continue to add new features.

Here’s my request: $1.00 a week. If you’d make it a habit to ding the button for a buck every Monday, the engine will keep running, and the site will continue to grow with entertaining and informative features and new contributers. Or just sign up for a recurring 1, 5 or 10 dollar a week charge, which you can cancel very easily anytime by hitting the button at the bottom of the page.
