Excerpted From The Hill: Legendary rocker Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame called Donald Trump an “a–hole” and railed against the GOP presidential nominee’s proposed border wall during a Mexico City concert on Wednesday.
During the Pink Floyd classic “Pigs,” a giant screen behind the stage flashed an illustration of Trump holding a submachine gun followed by Spanish translations of controversial remarks Trump has made about race, women, President Barack Obama’s birthplace and his own wealth.
“Trump eres un pendejo,” read the final screen, meaning “Trump you are an a–hole.”
Following tradition, an inflatable pig floated above the audience during the song, this one decorated by Mexican artists with statements of protest against Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto.
Waters, the writer behind most of Pink Floyd’s rock opera “The Wall,” panned the idea of building a border wall, which he said would separate families. Keep reading
